though we won't be in the 80s like the last couple days. it is still going to be awfully nice to be in the great outdoors today. plenty of sunshine coming through the sky here in northwest washington. current temperature right here at the station at 68 degrees already. 67 downtown at the airport. 70 degrees in calvert county, maryland this morning. 70 degrees also in diehl and shady side. 64 now in bristow, virginia. rap hannah county temperatures in the low 60s. mid 60s in the panhandle of west virginia with a couple light rain showers now moving toward hagerstown and northern frederick county so a couple showers out to the west here through this morning and there may be a quick little passing shower coming through the metro area this afternoon. not looking for a lot of rain and whatever we get won't last long but it will be mild today. temperatures mid to upper 70s. tomorrow's highs only in the low 50s. the cavaliers are on the road taking on the duke blue devils in durham today. the 3:00 kickoff sunny, warm, 83 degrees there. and the terpins are at home in college park taki

temperatures to start your day but a nice mild afternoon with highs expected to get close, awfully close to 70 degrees. upper 60s to about 70. a little warmer than yesterday. a few clouds rolling through at the moment. not perfectly clear. that is actually holding the temperature up a little bit. but out to the west, we don't have a whole lot going on. the rain showers you see out in ohio, they are going to push up into the great lakes and up into canada. won't be impacting us. our next weather maker, a cold front that won't get in here until late in the day tomorrow. here is your forecast for today. area of high pressure that is keeping us nice and cool right now will push to the east later today. we'll get a bit of a southerly wind so that will help the temperatures warm up. not sure we'll be into the 70s. by late in the day tomorrow, really tomorrow night, we'll get a quick hit of rain shower activity. maybe some thunderstorms around here tomorrow night into early friday. and then we'll clear it out for most of the day on friday and the weekend right now looking greet. a little cooler this

it out nicely as i open it up more. you can see the readings, up to the north and west, 49 minneapolis, minnesota. awfully cold. kansas city, missouri, 49 degrees. that's the cold air coming in behind the next front. and that next front will start stepping in as early as saturday. we're going to see a few clouds around the area. but it's the chilly air that hits us on sunday. and out of the couple of days that we're going to see readings heading way down, i think sunday is going to be the day with the lowest readings. saturday it's into ohio and kentucky. by the time we get to the end of the weekend sunday, through the mid-atlantic, that cold air is going to be hanging out for a while. cold during the overnight, cool by day. here's a look at your futurecast again. clearing out overnight. tomorrow morning, sunshine. tomorrow afternoon, sunshine. with a nice wind out of the west. and by the time we get to saturday, there's that front coming in on us a little closer. a few clouds, maybe even a few sprinkles or two. light showers expected on saturday anytime. just very, very light stuff. i
